The Players:
Vince Brophy has been making original music for many years and released six albums under his own name. Vince's love of lush finger-style guitar, Irish traditional music and fascination with the stories of real people and places come through strongly in his original work. He has worked as an artist in residence in Georgetown, Tasmania and Kilmore, Victoria and produced many fine songs from these periods, which feature strongly in the Live repertoire .
Cora Browne is a glorious singer with a deep love of Vocal Harmony. She has sung in many genre’s including Folk, Gospel and Jazz. With Vince, she returns to the music of her childhood in Ireland and the folky days of her first arrival in Oz. She continuously reinvigorates traditional tunes while also bringing her original songs and enlivening shows with her wicked sense of humour.
Margie Brophy is an experienced entertainer with many years of touring with VInce in their Jack and Molly early childhood shows. Margie is our chief organiser and the narrator in our show From Famine to Feast. She is a beautiful and passionate performer with a delicious story tellers lilt in her voice.
